Our Story
My journey with Isleande started in 2017, inspired by an unusually hot summer in Helsinki. After struggling to find comfortable and versatile pieces for my little ones, I found myself overwhelmed by the abundance of loud prints and synthetic textures – completely unsuited for sweltering temperatures. With this in mind, I set out to create a children’s brand that celebrates my own Caribbean heritage and also reflects my love for Nordic – especially Finnish – way of life.
A year later Isleande was founded. Starting with our signature styles the Naantali and Nagu, our mission is to create soft yet sustainable children's clothing with a focus on timeless pieces that are inspired by Nordic and Caribbean summers. Each piece is meant to be lived in and passed on – for little ones to explore the joys of recreational living, and for parents who want to pass on their way of life.

Shipping policy
DELIVERY
We dispatch all orders within 2-5 days working days. During sale events and new collection launches, there may be slightly longer processing times. We will make every effort to deliver your order within the estimated time span, however delays are occasionally inevitable and the estimates relate to normal business periods. See below for estimations of delivery costs and times:
Finland: flat rate 5.90€ | free on all orders over 160€ | 2 - 5 working days
EU & EEA: flat rate 18€ | free on all orders over 160€ | 7 - 14 working days
Rest of World*: flat rate 36€ | free on all orders over 300€ | 10 - 20 working days
*In addition to the EU and EEA, we ship to the following countries: Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, USA, and many more. If your location is not listed here, please email orders@isleande.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
ORDER CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us immediately. Unfortunately it is not always possible to stop the order if the package has already been sent. In this case you are liable for postage fees. Additionally, you will be liable for any charges incurred from returned goods.
Unfortunately we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been dispatched. If you wish to change the delivery address, there may be an additional charge, which you will have to pay to the courier company directly upon delivery. Please feel free to contact orders@isleande.com if you have any further questions or concerns regarding the shipment of your order.
IMPORT DUTIES
Orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, import duties or customs charges. You are responsible for paying any import duty that may be payable on the goods when they reach their destination. We have no control over such charges and cannot predict them. If charges are levied in your country and you refuse to pay them, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package. These costs will be subtracted from your order refund and your credit/debit card will be charged accordingly.
